Is this MTB trip for you?

We want you to have the best experience in Norway with us, so read this carefully. It’s important to be sure that this is the perfect mountain bike tour, with the right level of challenge, for you.

This tour is for expert and very experienced mountainbikers only. We will cover 1000-1500m vertical/day. Most of the time we need to push-bike (hike-a-bike) or even carry them on our shoulders.

Expect technical climbs, technical, rugged singletrack descents, rock gardens, muddy, indistinct trails. Single trail rating 2-3 (scale 1-5).

This trip is not suited for all advanced bikers, double track bikers and downhill expert. You need to be a good hiker and experienced in alpine terrain!

Notes

Accomodation: We stay in cozy huts (red, likely ;)) near the fjord.

Food: Included is breakfast and lunch. We do this manually in the morning so you have your food ready for the day biking. Together we prepare or dinner (we spare costs here or go fishing) or go to a local restaurant.

Transport: Included are all transports in Lyngen. We pick you up at the airport in Tromso, bring you to all trails and back to the airport. Our tip is, you plan your trip for at least 2 weeks and enjoy nature there longer.

Riding ability: 900-1600 meters vertical/day, usually hike-a-bike, S2-3 (Singletrailskala) is mandatory.

Please note: Our mountain bike tour Norway Lyngen Fjord is a living thing, being influenced by multiple factors such as changing weather conditions, group riding abilities, trail damage, to name a few. Your guides are experts in alpine areas and will be continually assessing these factors and making tweaks to the itinerary where necessary to ensure that every member of the group has the best possible experience.
