For a short trip to Innsbruck or a holiday of up to 1 week, we recommend arriving by train or bus. The city center is quite manageable and everything is within walking distance.

For a weekend trip, you can leave your car in some areas for free from 7 p.m. on Fridays until 9 a.m. on Monday morning. In the city center, you MUST often move your car after a maximum of 180 minutes, as this is a so-called “short-term parking zone”. Rather unsuitable for a relaxing vacation.
