Easy Cycling in Innsbruck! 31km Inn Valley Route Along the Danube River and Villages

Easy Cycling in Innsbruck! 31km Family Route along the Inn river

A nice family cycling trip in Innsbruck follows the Inn river. Without vertical meter and access to the railways, this route is a perfect fit for families and an enjoyful, easy bike trip. All infos for this mini-adventure in this blog.
From the 520 kilometers the Inn Cycle Path in Innsbruck offers, take a nice, sweet 31-kilometer peace, all for yourself, or share it with your friends and family. A beautiful section leads very easily from Innsbruck to Schwaz, and the paths mostly stretch directly along the river and through the neighboring villages. Mountain Moments will show you how to get there, and how to make the most of it photography-wise.

The Inn Cycle Path leads from its origin in the Swiss Engadine to German Passau. Here the mountain stream, which was still small and green at the beginning, now flows into the Danube as a strong river. The cycle path is easily passable by bike and road bike along the entire route.

Particularly attractive is the possibility to always return along the route by train. This has saved many a tired cyclist from a summer thunderstorm or the classic valley wind in the afternoon. The Inntalradweg (Inntalrad path) is suitable for the whole family.

On Sundays, racing cyclists are better off taking the surrounding country roads to keep better flow.
