Photo tips that will make your Instagram pop – slopes, summits and striking views

Sassolungo and Sassopiatto tower prominently above the Alpe di Siusi and the gently rolling slopes that follow. The imposing rising summits provide the background for most photographs taken here. Especially when autumnal fog drifts over the alp, outstanding mountain shots can be taken here.

The photo spot shown is located near the cable car mountain station of Sankt Ulrich. Along the road and the surrounding hiking trails between Monte Icaro (Hotel Icaro) and the Moos biotope (Col da Fil) are the most beautiful views. Equally impressive are the views (also from the valley near Siusi) to the Sciliar, the striking cone.

For experienced hikers and those free from giddiness, there are numerous via ferratas and climbing tours on the Sciliar in the immediate vicinity
